Hyundai is all set to launch 2016 Elantra in India today.
The sedan has been in news for quite sometime now and is amongst the most anticipated launches of this year.

The next-gen Hyundai Elantra will measure 4,570mm in length, 1,800m in width and 1,440mm in height and will have a wheelbase of 2,700mm.
Hyundai’s new sedan will be sold in both petrol and diesel models. While the petrol model will have a 2.0-litre dual VTVT unit producing 148bhp and 190 NM of peak torque, the diesel model will have a 1.6-litre CRDi unit, capable of churning out 126bhp and 265Nm of peak torque.
Also, while the petrol model will host a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, a 6-speed manual gearbox will be available in the diesel model.
The diesel model of the new Elantra will have a fuel efficiency of 22.4 kmpl, whereas the petrol model will offer a fuel efficiency of 14.6 kmpl.
Elantra sports LED taillights and is equipped with the new alloy wheel design. Other impressive features include cruise control, stirring mounted control, sunroof, anti-Lock Braking system, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, blind-spot detection system, 6-airbags along with an additional driver knee airbag, eight-inch touch screen with Apple Car Play and smart boot opening.
Elantra is expected be in the range Rs 15 lakh to Rs 18 lakh and will go on sale in India from August 23.
