Giving hope that an amicable solution for the Ayodhya land dispute of Babri Masjid versus Ram Mandir may be possible, Muslim Karsevaks arrived in Ayodhya on Thursday evening with a truck full of bricks to help in the construction of a Ram temple.
Under the banner of Muslim Kar Sevak Manch (MKM), a group of Muslims from Lucknow, Basti and other districts arrived in Ayodhya on Thursday evening. President of the Sri Ram Mandir Nirman Muslim Kar Sevak Manch Azam Khan said that they wanted to aid in the construction of a Ram temple.

However, since the Ram Lalla temple was closed for the day, the Muslim well-wishers were not able to enter the area. They then contacted the local members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad to hand over the bricks they had brought.
In its last statement on the Ayodhya land dispute, the Supreme Court had asked both sides to reach an amicable solution through dialogue as the dispute was a "sensitive and sentimental" issue. After being sworn-in as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath had invited both parties for discussion on how to resolve the Ayodhya dispute.
